Mitinet Library Services Receives 2nd Consecutive Platinum Award in 2020 Modern Library Awards from LibraryWorks

Verona, WI – January 28, 2020 – Mitinet Library Services, a leader in metadata management, is pleased to announce it has received a platinum award in LibraryWorks’ sixth annual Modern Library Awards (MLAs.) The MLAs were created to recognize the top products and services in the library industry in a truly unbiased format. Products and services were submitted in the fall using a simple application, and then were posted on a private site with an enhanced description and attendant materials. These products were batched into small groups and sent to the LibraryWorks database of more than 80,000 librarians at public, K-12, academic, and special libraries. Only customers with experience with these products and services were permitted to judge and scored them on a numeric basis from 1-10 on a series of questions regarding functionality, value, customer service, among other criteria.

Each judge scored the product on a numeric basis from 1-10 on a series of questions regarding functionality, value, customer service, etc.

“As I stated last year, ‘We set out to create the best library metadata system available’, so to receive this honor again further validates your belief in and the value you find in BestMARC. Yet we find too many people have not had the chance to enjoy the BestMARC experience. We are announcing that we are giving away a full year of BestMARC Standard to new users. Yes, BestMARC Standard FREE for a full year. Simply visit best-marc.com and use code MLA2020 to sign up. Feel free to share and post this code.” – Bart Fitzgerald, CEO
